An unrestored South African Mid-Century Modern armchair featuring a sturdy Mahogany timber frame 
and upholstered seat & backrest in a textured, speckled red bouclé fabric.

The chair is distinguished by its slender, gently curved armrests, which extend into the upright front supports, and its reclined backrest supported by three horizontal timber rails.
The open-frame construction and tapered legs give the chair a light, balanced appearance, while the generously cushioned seat provides a comfortable, relaxed seating position.

The contrast between the warm Mahogany and textured red upholstery lends the piece a distinctly mid-century character, combining restrained timber craftsmanship with the period's preference for expressive textiles.
