Our Workshop
We offer limited slots in our workshop for the full restoration of high-quality timber furniture & heirloom pieces.
Please note that this service is subject to our workshop’s capacity and an internal waiting list system is in place.
Our full timber restoration process includes the following steps:
• The chemical & mechanical stripping of old varnish
• The disassembly of loose & broken joints
• Repairing & Regluing of joints
• 3 x phase hand and/or mechanical sanding. (Depending on the type of timber construction)
• Our signature 3 x phase refinishing process
All inclusive of materials & sundries
(Thinners, paint stripper, metal blades, steel wool, sandpaper, turpentine & secret finishing products)
This process excludes any new timber components to be replicated & manufactured if necessary and excludes major structural repairs. All major structural repairs and custom made or replicated parts are quoted and priced on an itemised basis and prices are subject to woodwork complexities, timber types and extent of damage etc.
Base price for pur service offering:
• Dining chairs: R600/unit
(Excludes 15-25% surcharge for items with ornate curly details)
• Sideboards & dining tables:
R4 000 per standard sized unit
(Price surcharge on larger or XL units - quoted per item)
