8-Drawer Mid-Century Modern Chest of Drawers in Kiaat

8-Drawer Mid-Century Modern Chest of Drawers in Kiaat

A beautifully restored South African Mid-Century Modern chest of drawers in Kiaat, featuring eight drawers arranged in two symmetrical banks of four.

The cabinet is distinguished by its pronounced horizontal drawer pulls, which create a rhythmic, uninterrupted façade. The richly figured Kiaat introduces warmth and natural variation to the otherwise restrained, functionalist design.

A solid tongue-and-groove jointed solid Kiaat top, traditional keyhole escutcheon in the top drawers and substantial timber legs complete the piece.
